I am spending my valentines day at work but I work at a childrens hospital as a nurse so tons of love will be spread around! And this weekend me and my boyfriend are seeing Lady Antebellum in Dallas and staying in a nice suite to celebrate Valentines day together!
My husband and I will enjoy a quiet lunch together and will spend the afternoon with our 14 month old son who we buy books for with a special note each Valentine's Day :)

My valentine's day is going to be very lonely.
My boyfriend has been working in another city, about a 1.5hour ferry + hour drive away, since a few days after our two year on December 3rd. I've quit my job and we are moving over there officially at the end of the month.
Since he's left, we visit every two weeks but we only get two days together. He either comes home or I go over there and we stay at his moms (right now he's sleeping on her couch half the time and on his cousin's living room floor the rest of the time). This past weekend I went over there and we spent the WHOLE weekend driving around looking at rentals but weren't able to do anything special as we have to save up for the move and for my unemployment (hoping that won't be long! first time since I was 15 I won't have a job!).
Since we can't spend Valentine's Day together, we're just going to chat on the phone tomorrow night and I'll likely eat a container of ice cream while I watch bad tv. haha.
Once we're moved in, we'll go out for a late Valentine's Day date to make up for it.
For right now..we've got a body of water keeping us apart..but only 16 days left!

We plan on enjoying a home cooked meal and then watching our friends kids so they can go out and enjoy themselves! with 3 kids they dont get much alone time :)

We are staying in. We did out Valentine's Day early {last Saturday} saw The Grey and went to our favorite Indian restaurant. :)

I love Valentines day. It's my chance to lavish mr big with all manner of delights - a 1950's workshirt, love notes all through his lunch, tix to a concert, naughty emails, a fruit delivery. He deserves it all and more.
This year my Valentine's Day will be one to remember. I go to my very first meeting for my Gastric Bypass Surgery. It's something I've wanted to do for years now and I'm finally going forward with it!

we don't really do much for valentines-it's sandwiched right in between christmas and our annv. so we usually save plans/money for the anniversary. however, we do have some sweet friends coming to watch our littles this weekend so we will definitely be getting a date night in this week :)
Spending it with lovely ladies who's spouses are deployed with mine.
I'm spending Valentine's day eating steaks with my hubby and sneaking pieces to my puppy!
This years Valentine's Day is going to be filled with a 5 hour drive and because of that I won't be able to celebrate with any of my loved ones but I will make sure I will send them little love notes and give them extra attention and love.

I hate to admit it but Valentine's day will be spent pretty much like every other day. chores during the day, another evening of not eating dinner as a family due to scheduling differences, and then a swim met. But we will have dessert as a family once everyone gets home for the night! Ah the life of house full of teenagers!

This is amazing!! Well, our Valentine's day started with my hubby bringing me a Starbucks grande white mocha in bed, and it will end with us having a picnic on the living room floor (our tradition) and watching a movie (lady & the tramp) :)
