Friday's Letters

Dear Target, you get me every time. This time I bought leopard flats and teal pumps to rock with skinny jeans. And I was only supposed to go in to buy diapers.

Dear Jen, thank you so much for coming down to see me and Eden this week. We love you. You'll always be my #1 Arizona blog bestie.

Dear Mom & Dad, I miss you so much but I know that you're having so much fun down in your little Mexican paradise. Please have a margarita for me. Or two.

Dear DirectTV, I'm glad we could switch over to you from Cox to save about $60 a month, but please train your employees better next time. I really hate having something installed only to find out the next day that it was not done correctly. And having to wait 2-5 "business days" for someone to come out to help? Not okay.

Dear Nordstrom, your 2-day shipping means that I should have my items by tomorrow. Not Monday. You disappoint me.

Dear Heidi, I miss you. That is all. Please move back.

Dear weekend, it's shaping up to look like a good one. Tomorrow we're going to the neighborhood pumpkin patch, a birthday party for our little friend Moses (super-hero themed, of course), and out to our friends' family's ranch to go apple picking and dance the night away in a big barn.

Dear Arizona weather, you heat up during the months of July and August... but the rest of the year you are just plain amazing.

Dear blog community, I realized how much I love you when I was absent from the Influence Conference this weekend. You got to hear from such amazing speakers and bond and connect in ways that I only wish I could have done with you, too. I have to admit... I had to stay off all social media this weekend or else I would get very, very sad.

Dear Joshua, thank you for making me the happiest woman on Earth. I love you even though you are routinely starting to steal away the sheets in the middle of the night.

Dear iPhone, I'm sorry I've dropped you so many times that you have a big, ugly black "blob" in the upper left corner. Since a good eighth of my screen is blocked from view, I'll just blame you for my spelling mistakes on Twitter.

Dear presidential candidates, we've heard your talks. We've seen you bicker. Cheers to it all being over soon.

Dear insurance, I'm really glad we have you or else our little Eden would have cost us quite a mouthful. I just got the bill and almost choked on my lasagna.

Dear Eden... speaking of you, you have taken my breath away. Every single morning, you greet me with the world's best smile and the day is immediately tainted with perfection.

I'm not sure why I would be an AZ any time soon, BUT if I'm ever in AZ, I will come hang out with you and Eden! :) You are such a sweet mama. And I bet those pumps are so cute!
